About the Pastor

Elder Daryl Randolph, Sr., was born in the Kansas City, Missouri area where he spent all of his life in the family church that he loved (Gethsemane).

He accepted Christ and his call to ministry early on and spent most of his days as a youth helping out his uncle Billy (Rev. A.L. Scott) and the church wherever he could.

The call on his life was apparent at an early age, as the young Daryl was blessed with an anointing for many different ministries.

Some of his early ministries include: President of the "Yes" Club (a national Christian Youth Organization in the C. O. G. I. C.),  Minister of Music (local, state and district levels), Youth President and adjutant to his uncle, Rev. A. L. Scott.

Sadly, his uncle, Rev. A .L. Scott took ill and on December 18, 2001 left this earthly home.  Before leaving this life, Rev. Scott announced to all his desire to have his nephew, Daryl Randolph, succeed him as pastor of Gethsemane.

Within a year, Rev. Scott's request was granted and on November 24, 2002, Elder Daryl Randolph was officially installed as the new pastor of Gethsemane, Church of God in Christ, Center of Hope Ministries by Bishop W. B. Henderson.

Elder Randolph, is married to the lovely Carrie Randolph and together they have  four beautiful children, Nakia, Daryl, Jr. , Damon and Dorian.

Together they have worked tirelessly in moving the ministry through a tough period of transition (Rev. Scott's passing) and on forward to reach great new heights.

Our first family is greatly loved, respected and admired, by all that know them and Gethsemane continues to thrive under their leadership.
